How to get to Seville
Seville is located in the southwest of Spain, about 530 km south of the capital of Spain, Madrid. It is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia and covers an area of 141.42 km², with a population of around 700,000. Motorways and the high-speed train (AVE) are the most direct means of reaching Seville.

By Plane

If you decide to fly to Seville, you will land at Aeropuerto de Sevilla, also called Aeropuerto de San Pablo. A first-class airport in a city with a long aeronautical tradition.

The airport has an excellent parking lot, with access to the arrivals and departures halls, which offers all the necessary modalities: long, medium and short-stay parking.

From Seville Airport you can reach the centre of Seville in just 15 minutes if you use your own car, a rented one or if you take a taxi, and in about 35 minutes if you opt for the bus:

  • Take the EA bus line (Especial Aeropuerto) to the city center. The single trip costs around 5€. Timetables are available at TUSSAM
  • Take a taxi from the airport to the city center. The trip should cost around 25 - 30€ during the day (prices are higher at night or on holidays). Ask the taxi driver for a budget before starting the ride.
  • Take an Uber/Bolt from the airport to the city center. The cost varies depending on the app, but it should be between 20 - 25€.

By Car

Seville is perfectly connected by road. A network of motorways connects it from all cardinal points: the A-49 with Huelva and Portugal, the A-92 with Malaga and Granada, the A-4 with Cordoba and Madrid, the A-66 with Extremadura and the north of Spain.

The SE-30, the Ronda Super Norte and the SE-40 are the ring roads that facilitate movement around the city and its metropolitan area. Once you arrive in the city, you can park your vehicle in one of the parking lots in Seville.

Seville has two bus stations that connect it with national and international destinations. In addition, getting around the city by public transport is easy thanks to the existing network of lines.

Getting to Seville by train is possible from any of its stations.

  • Currently you can get to Santa Justa Station on high-speed lines from Córdoba, Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona on the southwest-northeast AVE line and from Málaga via AVANT trains.
