Sixth International Conference on Research Challenges in Information
RCIS is sponsored by IEEE SPAIN section and IEEE Spain Section CS/IA Joint Chapter>
From May 16, 2012 to May 18, 2012
Valencia, SPAIN

RCIS’12 will feature posters and hold a poster session. This poster session will provide a forum for researchers to showcase their work and obtain feedback on on-going research from knowledgeable conference attendees. Areas of interest are the same as those listed in the technical call for papers. While the poster needs not describe completed work, it should report on research for which at least some preliminary results are available. We specially encourage submissions by students (that is, for which a student is the first author of the poster).
Poster submission instructions
Poster proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file with no more than 2 pages. The two pages shall contain an abstract describing the research content of the poster, along with the title, authors, institutional affiliations and contact information.
Submissions will be reviewed and selected proposals will be published in the RCIS’12 Conference proceedings published by IEEE.
Consequently, poster proposals shall follow the IEEE 2-column format (see recommendations in the technical call for papers). Poster abstracts that exceed the limit of 2 pages will be rejected without review.
Please use the submission site to submit your poster proposal:

Important dates
The deadline for poster submissions is 11: 59 pm EU time on February 06, 2012 (extented). Authors will be notified of acceptance by February 20, 2012. They will be instructed and asked to provide the camera-ready copy of their poster for the 10th of March 2012.
Poster Presentation
Authors of accepted posters will have a chance to present the poster to conference attendees during a special poster session included in the main program. Well-crafted posters will tell the story well by themselves, but authors of posters are expected to be available to describe and discuss the work presented in the poster during the session. At least one of the poster authors must be registered at the conference and attend the poster session.
The poster dimensions are 30” by 40”, with poster content mounted on rectangular poster board we will provide. You may choose a layout consisting of several individual sheets of paper, or a monolithic large sheet.
